Kick-off Meeting of the plant modular project was held in Jiangsu Libert INC. on Nov. 16, which is the first global plant modular chemical industry project of the client. Owner and Management Company etc. attended the commencement ceremony and visited Jiangsu Libert INC. Jiangsu Yangtze River Heavy-duty Park Factory, and made a field research on the projects which are being undertaken. LBT leaders Shen Binqiang, Yang Qinghua, Wang Hailong and Cai Zhigang etc. attended the meeting and accompanied for visit. 

Production Workshop Visit

        On Kick-off Meeting, LBT made a Special Report about early-stage preparations, project progress, project new challenges and follow-up measures etc. for the project. Attendees made a in-depth exploration and open communication about project design, equipment procurement, materials supply, construction organization, module lifting& transportation and site installation& commissioning etc.. The Owner and Management Company fully affirmed the great efforts made by LBT during the process of project implementation and the preparations for commencement.

        Shen Binqiang, LBT Group Chairman indicated that the project has great and far-reaching significance for the development and innovation of LBT’s project management mode, and has deep influence on strategic layout of Owner, Management Company and LBT. LBT will take full advantage of EPFC whole industry chain, and make full preparation, actively integrate resources and complement each other's advantages, to make sure the plant modular project is implemented with safety, good quality and in order. LBT will prove with practices that Owner’s  decision-making to award such important project to LBT for implementation is wise, scientific and correct.

        Ribbon-cutting ceremony for project commencement was held in Workshop C at 13:18 on Nov. 16. Owner, Management Company and LBT cut the ribbon for project commencement, and the lifting of bottom structure was completed smoothly, which indicated the project was started fully.

        The work scope of this plant modular project includes module fabrication, steel structure installation, equipment installation& commissioning, piping pre-fabrication& installation, electrical& instrument, civil engineering, architecture, fire-fighting, telecommunications, painting and anti-corrosion insulation etc., and the construction duration is about 11 months. The overall size of the project is 30m L, 26m W and 33m H, and the total weight is about 3500tons. The weight of single module for transportation is about 400 tons. The project will be carried out by LBT, LBT Engineering and LBT Construction to bring into play their respective advantages and strength, and fully show the advantages of EPFC whole industry chain. The smooth commencement of this project will set up another one milestone for LBT on super-large module fabrication and large-scale project EPFC operation management, and manifest the comprehensive strength and level of LBT in the field again.
